Found 103 bucks in one of my jackets. Yay for gas money.

Interview went very well. Took an exam when I got there (typical tax prep exam, zero concern there) and talked a bit more. I feel pretty good about it, but won't know for a week or so. I'm confident, but not cocky about it. :)

I'll pray about it. It's already in the bag.

Been laddering on DN for a while now and I've finally hit the leaderboards (top 200) for the first time since last format (pre-september). Not bad, 164th out of ~800,000 players registered, and still raising. I'm in that soft spot though, a win will bring me up about 20-30 people, and a loss will bring me down the same amount... Gotta play hard if I want to make top 20.

I blame my success on Heliotrope, Bunny and Ophion. Verz Laggia confirmed for most fun no fun deck of all time. (You have plenty of fun with it while your opponent can't do shit)

EDIT: 141 now

Awesome, this thread is living up to its name, congrats all around.

I'm happy that I have a clean apartment and all my bills/troublesome little things taken care of for the month, so I can leave early from work tomorrow and be carefree for a 4 day weekend. <3

One of the many joys of working where I work:

As mentioned a few times in the vent thread, one of my coworkers is leaving. Her last day was supposed to be tomorrow but she's staying another week... that said, she has to get a medical exam tomorrow so she has to fast all day. After informing my boss about this, he promptly decided to put together a last minute potluck with all her favorite food items as a "going away party" lol.

Some might consider this mean and perhaps to a degree it might be but we all enjoy it, even those of us who wont be able to partake. He does a good job of keeping moral up when we have a crappy day. I was considering not coming into work tomorrow but I changed my mind, lol.

Also, i thoroughly enjoy watching my cat play with her Pooh plushie, she's so funny.
