Validate email email recieved

I got a fishy email today, here is the whole thing copied. I need to know if this is an actual email from you guys or if its a result of those hacker pukes. Thanks in advance for your help.

It has come to our notice that most of our email accounts have been opened with unprotected browsers/computers and most Users no longer use their email accounts. This has created room for spams, bulk and unsolicited emails. Our Help Desk want to deactivate all accounts which have been compromised.

To validated and confirm that you are actually the original owner of this account, you are to fill up the short form in the link below and click submit;

CLICK HERE TO VALIDATE AND ACTIVATE YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNT

Failure to do this will have your account deactivated to avoid unauthorized usage.

This is most definitely NOT an email sent by us. It doesn't sound like it has anything to do with the org to begin with.

Can you tell me what the "from" address was, as well as the url the email is trying to get you to visit (prolly best to put that in the "code" tags so phpbb doesn't try to turn it into a clickable link)? The way it's sounding right now, it could just be a phishing attempt by some party unrelated to the recent org hack.

I have reported the email to that emails administration as well as flagged it with google as phishing.

Yep, definitely phishing.

If anyone else gets the email, don't click the link.
Report the email,
Delete the email,
Sacrifice the email in a ritual (check with local authorities for legal information regarding such rituals)

If you actually gave your information out, be sure to change your password.
