I think mine is pretty obvious, if you know the source material.

Alright ya'll, sorry for the delay. It's been interesting getting back into the swing of things after Youmacon. I usually need a week to re-cooperate, and this year was no different.

So yeah, the finalists, cut, and winners can all be seen here: http://contests.ngsilver.com/youma_fina ... t_2012.php
All videos that had links provided by the creator are also listed as well. I will be trying to find links for videos that are not listed as well, and if anyone has links send em my way and I'll update the system with them.

I want to again congratulate all of our winners. For those of you confused about having won awards despite not being in the list of finalists, please read back over the Compbros Rule again. The way we did judging this year was entirely different then in previous years and having the scores and awards being separate does allow for entries to win awards despite not being in the final list of entries shown at the con. It may seem a little odd, but it does happen and that is the way it was designed.

I will be reaching out to all of our award winners to verify shipping addresses in order to ship the awards. This year we also moved onto a different award system, every award winner will receive a medal for their award. All medals are individually numbered and the certificate that comes with the award will outline the specific award and also be used as a certificate of authenticity for the medal that is received with it.

This year we also experimented with running two different streams, 1 the video stream from our playback system and the other a room reaction stream. I know a few of you who were unable to attend were on both streams during the weekend and chatting with our staff. I was glad to see the streams being used. This year we had some logistical issues keeping the streams running and finding the best location for the cameras, and their mics. My staff and I have been discussing ideas for next year's streams and would like to hear your comments as well. Ultimately, these streams are for all of you and we would like to make it the best experience for our editors who are unable to make it to the con as well as any other fan of AMVs who would like to tune in as well. We want to make our online presence as close to being in the VAT at con as possible.

For anyone wanting to know what videos were played during the weekend, I will be posting the lists as soon as I am able to get the logs off of the playback system which should hopefully be done here when I get off of work in a few hours.

As for wrapping up this year, any issues anyone has with how things were handled this year or any suggestions that ya'll have for next year please let me know. I want to make Youmacon the best show it can be for both our attendees and the editors who submit their works to us. I was overwhelmed by the number of entries we received this year and the number of interesting and unique entries that we got and am very glad to have seen all of these entries. I look forward to seeing all of the new videos next year. Again, thank you all.

Link to nakunaide in signature.

Also, can we get a close up picture of what the medals look like? That'd be pretty cool.
