SEXY FIGHT SCENES.

Thank the writers for giving us some explanations this time. I like how they made us think about how the powers REALLY work. Interesting that offense is just glorified defense, very clever. And i see how they can animate so well; all they do is eliminate the unnecessary background characters (by killing them, LOL) so that they can focus all their processing power on the few main characters.

Im loving this show. 3 episodes in, and i can see a very nice story coming together.

note that the magic we have seen so far is just the magic of one clan or family. The island girl (forgot her name) said that they specialize in certain magic because they draw their power from a certain source. I'm willing to be there are other groups of mages around with different types of magic, including full on offensive magic.

Dont be drinking anything during the last 20 seconds, otherwise you'll end up with a soaked computer screen. Funny how a show that talks about Logic can have a mind-fucker like this one. I get that he could've lied, but I don't get how she's there and thats there and he thinks and she thinks and the talismans are like this and are planted here and somehow Mahiro's sister is involved?

Dont get me wrong, I LOVE this plot! But WOW, what a cliffhanger!

yeah you are pretty much right, you shouldn't be drinking water in the last 20 seconds. I laughed so hard that I jumped. :ying:

Zetsuen no Tempest seems to be doing a better job than the manga (although I'm pretty sure the last episode of the two guys' pasts was filler, but correct me if I'm wrong. It's been awhile) but I'm still not 100% sold on the show. Then again, I guess the manga wasn't very strong imo either.
However the score continues to be awesome (as well as the OP. Mmf dat OP) and the VAs are all going ace jobs. I like it, but I just feel like it's lacking something.
