I've done up to 16 hours in one go. All of my individual videos are always finished in the space of about 2 weeks after starting them, and it's not unusual for me to edit compulsively for several days in a row (and not do much else), then not edit for months until the next video.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Minmay 2.0 took seven years to complete, but that was not full on editing the entire time. I've often spent entire days, some times several days in a row editing all day, aside from eating, sleeping, etc. I'd say, on average, most of my videos take months of planning, storyboarding, prepping, clipping, and editing to finish. Three or four months is maybe average. With the exception of ICs, which are a very, very different type of editing for me personally, editing anything in a day is simply impossible. I didn't participate in the Quickening, but I don't think I'd really like anything that I only took a week to make. Too little time for my to crystalise my vision.

I'm guessing this wasn't all in one go?

For me, in one go, 7 hours, and it was done in that time. Shortest for a full video, 3. Haven't managed to get before that amount of time yet :?

Longest, not in one go, 2 weeks. I don't think I've spent more than 24 hours in total on any amv though.

For Chronicles of Ghibli, I spent an entire long weekend less 4 hours of sleet a night just ot finish the ending... I WOULD not recommend that to anyone

Thats hardcore.

As for me, I think at most maybe 8-10 hours a day for several days.

About 4~5 hours at a time, excluding overnight renders.
I don't really have my videos considered finished, but it takes about a week to come up with a release.

12 hours on a single video.

Unfortunately they are uploaded to my other account. It was mostly because I had no idea what I was doing and fiddling with the programs as I progressed.

Still and probably always will be a noob.
