Same situation with Index, actually (A Certain Magical Index, I mean). Index, too, was supposed to be a single volume thing (when it was originally posted online), but then they removed the sex scene and went on with it for the novels. SAO had the same sort of fate.

Well here comes the new arc where Asuna still hasn't came back. I like where this is going, making it very interesting to watch.

I remember when they did that. I find it strange that SAO sort of did the same thing as it continued.mirkosp wrote: Same situation with Index, actually (A Certain Magical Index, I mean). Re: Sword Art Online
Now hopefully it makes it to the GGO arc or the Alicization arc ( the final arc). Because I really want to see Asada Shino (Sinon) in the anime and not only the novel.

Re: Sword Art Online
They seriously pulled the "Kirito's sister is really his cousin" thing just so she could be in love with Kirito? Holy Arceus, SAO.
I guess I'll watch a few more eps of the new arc but I didn't find the conclusion to the first arc satisfying at all.
Honestly this show does seem popular enough that it would get a season 2 though.
