Spoiler :
She didn't die.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAiUf-HHBZ0
Refer to the PV for the 14th episode.
I don't want to spoil too much, so let's just say she's trapped in ALO. The blonde is another girl whom will team up with Kirito.
EDIT: That said, anything past SAO is an addition which we could have done without. SAO itself was so and so, but now it's just all milking and it gets even worse (originally the author meant to only write the first novel, then he kinda went on).

Same situation with Index, actually (A Certain Magical Index, I mean). Index, too, was supposed to be a single volume thing (when it was originally posted online), but then they removed the sex scene and went on with it for the novels. SAO had the same sort of fate.

Wasnt it because he originally had a revival item he got trying to save the other girl?
Spoiler :
nope, he gave that to his friend and told him to use it on the next person who died in front of him, so it probably got used up a long time ago. plus it only works on one person. they basically got a gg from the game creator for being able to go outside the limits of his program.

Well here comes the new arc where Asuna still hasn't came back. I like where this is going, making it very interesting to watch. :ying:

I remember when they did that. I find it strange that SAO sort of did the same thing as it continued.

Now hopefully it makes it to the GGO arc or the Alicization arc ( the final arc). Because I really want to see Asada Shino (Sinon) in the anime and not only the novel. :awesome:

It won't unless they do a season 2 someday.

They seriously pulled the "Kirito's sister is really his cousin" thing just so she could be in love with Kirito? Holy Arceus, SAO.

I guess I'll watch a few more eps of the new arc but I didn't find the conclusion to the first arc satisfying at all.

Honestly this show does seem popular enough that it would get a season 2 though.
