AMV virgin here, help pop my cherry!

Post by PurpleRhino » Thu Oct 11, 2012 12:49 pm

I am completely new to the making of amv world, yes your typical noob. So naturally i have quite a few questions to ask.

Firstly you should know I currently have adobe premiere elements 10 that i was going to use for AMV's. I am curious as to the #1 suggested program for making AMV's and if the program I have is okay to start out with.

I downloaded some high school of the dead to use for the amv, my problem though is it is in flv format, which of course isn't recognized on my premiere elements. I was hoping some of you would have some good and trusted sites I can get a format converter....

thanks for your time! :awesome:

1) Don't use downloaded footage.
2) DON'T use downloaded footage.
3) Read the guides, such as the stickies in General AMV and in these forums.
4) There is no one recommended program.

Good luck.

There are some guides around the org here. The How-To Guides are located on the top of the forum page on the left.
And yes, basically dont use downloaded footage, esp when they are in FLV.
