Got a number of great people working with me on this. Should be fun times.

I'll have contest info up on the contest thread in the next few weeks. This year's con theme is "Year of the Dragon" so we're going to be having a dragon-based Theme category as well. More info on that later on.

Also worth noting:
* We're bringing back Extreme Iron Editor for it's 5th year
* We're adding an 18+ Iron Editor event into the schedule.
* We have a special guest to the room, Scott Melzer, to do some fandub parody programming
* I'm adding Creator Spotlights to the mix. Sign-ups for that will go up soon.
* We have a number of MEPs planned for screening.
* I'm currently in the midst of trying to create a poster gallery to hang outside of our event space to advertise the room blocks, MEPs, Fandubs, etc. and would love any artistic support I can muster from creators to that end.

I'm all set to start taking sign-ups for events including:
* Creator Spotlights
* AMV Creators Panel
* Extreme Iron Editor
* 18+ Iron Editor

Also, feel free to post on the forums here: http://anotheranimecon.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=5

It's weirdcreepy for my blabbering to be pretty much the only thing going on in there - the forums are really dead.

Creator Splotlights... I see I started a trend :D .. Should of asked for royaltes :P :P :P

Hmmm.. I noticed the majority of Managers and Exec at this con are Female... That's kind of intresting as I've not seen ratios that high except for Vividcon

I steal my ideas from the best.

On the ratio, any real list you're going from hasn't been updated in a while. We don't have a public facing staff list currently, and forum colors for staff were configured a while back (weirdly), have people on there that aren't staff anymore, and are missing a lot of others. I think execs and department heads are close to 50-50 (Con Chair, Secretary, Programming, Voulenteers, Vendors, Cosplay vs AMV, Tech, Guest Relations, Security, Artist Alley, Video Games). Our con chair and her secretary do the work of like 5 people though.

That sounds familiar, for Animethon the ViceChair and Programmign Director do the work of many people

So, somewhat related to this. AAC puts on a 1-day mini-con every summer called the Summer Matsuri. In the past, they were held in Manchester at a hotel that was just recently forced to close so the airport could take the land and build another parking lot out of it. This year's Summer Matsuri will therefore take place in Concord NH on September 1st. I'm bringing back the AMV room we ran last year with the help of LantisEscudo. We'll have a good 12-14 hours of programming running through out the day. For anyone who's interested, information on the location and whatnot can be found at the Summer Matsuri Website.

It's cheap (only $20) and helps us expand our tech as we migrate AAC into it's new, larger home in Manchester.

We've officially announced that the Fan-Works Theater is going to be running several hours of Thursday programming for pre-registered attendees. We've got so much great stuff, we can't fit it all into 3 days!

Ask Fall_Child42 to name next year "The Year of the Panic", that'll definitely get you the emote.

I really want to thank all the people that came out to this. I had an amazing time getting this room together. I also want to give the very deepest of thanks to my crew, LantisEscudo, GloryQuestor, and drewaconclusion for making this programming track happen. I want to give A major shout-out to Scott Melzer for not only all his help and content, but also providing me with some of the biggest laughs I've had in years. Also, thanks to all our event Judges, Borihiei, Kiarrens, the LeetStreet Boys, etc. for making my Extreme Iron Editor Events that much more Extreme.
