iirc, it normally happens right after the VCAs. This was the first year we skipped it.

Personally, I don't see why the AMV logo contest was run annually to begin with. A logo is your identity as an organization or community; re-branding yourself every year is just going to dilute this. This doesn't mean I think the current logo is perfect and should stay as the Org's logo for perpetuity, but we should pick one logo and stick with it for a while.

Maybe in the next logo contest we can just pit all the previous ones against each other and choose a permanent logo?
