Anyone into photography?

Here's a full 360 degree panorama I made from 42 images I took at the top of Mt. Misen at Miyajima during my study abroad in Hiroshima this past summer. Unfortunately its a bit blurred when view at full resolution due to the way I shot the photos...

I've recently started to get into photography... I particularly like doing cosplay shots and skyscape photography... although anything that looks grand and gorgeous in nature is worthy of my attention... I've been hoping to get a good lightning shot using 30-60 second exposures... but haven't had any luck so far, the sky just isn't cooperating.

While holidaying in Japan this year, I found myself in Nagasaki, doing the usual sightseeing. I was taking a picture of a statue of Sadako when I saw a cat lazily laying down on the ground, under a hot sun in the afternoon. Thanks to its tired or lazy or sunbaking attitude, the cat kindly co-operated with my shot:

Just got a Canon T3i as well as a 50mm f/1.8 lens.
So far, I'm loving this camera but I can't really do anything with it until my 32GB SD Card comes in and I'm using a 1GB SD Card until then.
Either way, I plan on getting into skate photography and I may be editing some music videos in the future.
