First off, your banners are very nice :awesome:. As for the videos themselves, I like all of them but I'm particularly fond of the Gankutsuou video. You captured the essence of the Count's character; dark, calculating, bitter & more than a little evil... but at the same time, strangely sympathetic.

As I told you on youtube I really liked it I think is the best of that round , the thing that struck me most and how you combined all anime in a great
in a great atmosphere
I think this is your best work

Star Crossed

I also liked this
You have really good scenes together dramatic and sentimental

Mon Ami Edmond

You have made very good the bad and the whole is united by a nice dark atmosphere

Personally I think you had the best videos out of every editor. Every video stands perfectly by itself. All of them are so solid, and I just adore your Anohana video and Miyazaki tribute. I don't even feel the need to go into all the little things I liked, because the videos truly speak for themselves, and I'd just be watering down the greatness of it all. Seriously, awesome, awesome work. I loved your videos before, but after POE, you're easily one of my favorite editors.
Keep it up :)

First of all, congratulations for your second place at POE: you've managed to create something really interesting each round and actually I think that you were the best in the contest.
I generally liked all the videos you have made, but I'm going to write a comment just for "Creating Something Beautiful" because it's my favourite.

Well, it was overall a pretty well edited video, and I particullary liked the atmosphere, really cheerful and sometimes a bit dramatic (well, that's what I felt ^^). Moreover, you've managed to join together all those animes in a great way, and the flow of the video was very smooth. The thing I liked the most was the alternation between the animes and the scenes with Miyazaki and the studio Ghibli (I particularly appreciated the scene with the red airplane in the anime followed by the same airplane in the studio).
If I have to find some defects in the video, I might say that the aspect ratio was sometimes wrong in some scenes; also, I've already said that overall the flow was smooth, but some passages between the animes weren't so fluid and they seemed a bit forced/random. Last thing, I didn't like the white writtens, but I know that you've done them because of the contest's theme so I don't mind about them.

This is going to sound a bit over the top, but i'm serious.

You made, without a doubt, some of the most moving videos I've ever had the privilege to watch in this contest. I was truly amazed by them, and hope you'll continue to share
your talents with the world. Amazing job. And, please get these out there to cons - people need to experience these.

(also, also... I'm going to send you a PM with your judges awards as soon as i can find them - so sorry for the hold up on them :( )

EDIT - spelling

Aw thank you Ryan! Glad you like the banners :P the opinion from another designer is always welcome
Oh gosh that video gave me nightmares, that round was the cause for me to watch that anime and it was really awesome to work with it. But since the anime is so good, you tend really work hard and make justice to it. I made the count look a bit more evil than he really is ;p

@Kyros, aw thank you so much for watching them all. I appreciate it <3

Whoa Taite, this really means a lot! Thank you so much! POE was a real challenge and I learned a lot too. Hopefully I'll be able to show that in the future

@Scarlet, aw thank you! I got third, but what you said means a lot. I never expected to get to the last round and I'm honored that I got there with Shin and paco, cause their videos were always so amazing!
And ahah that scene with the airplane is one of my favorites too. When I saw the clip, I knew I had to use with the original movie. It was too perfect! Oh really, the aspect ratio? Can you tell me where so I can look into it? Or are you talking about the old movies? Funny, that even though Lopez video had the text because it's from the original clip, I tried really hard to find the same font and put them in the exact same place with the same effect and distortion, so that in a way it's like another official video of the music? I kinda like it, but I know that some people don't so I totally respect your opinion :P

Oh uau! Thank you! I was already with a big smile on my face and I never thought I could smile even more with the last comment (and maybe blush a bit). Due to some life issues, I only managed to retouch what I wanted a few days ago, but don't worry I plan to send them to a few cons. It's actually a way of thanking all the support I've been getting here and outside. :D Aw! And thank you in advance for the judge awards! <3

Creating Something Beautiful was excellent! I was just blown away by it. Definitely one of the best Ghibli tribute videos I've ever seen. Fantastic job!

Aw thank you so much macchinainterna! It's my favorite from the ones I did. I lost count by the number of times I listened to that song because of Lopez video and if it wasn't for POE I would probably never edit with it ^^'

Your style has evolved in the good way. Your last video was probably my favorite, though you had the 1st round video |:>

Starting:

Creating something beautiful:

This is the kind of video I like because it's a complete video in terms of the mood and flow. You didn't bother adding unnecesary effects, nor you conected all the animes under a theme that was probably the only proper one for this video. It's such a powerful combination.

But... the beginning didn't hook me so I start enjoying it after minute 2. Dunno why, but it doesn;t matter anymore

Star Crossed:

delightful, nor enough convincing. For this video I still have divided opinions since in a hand I like it and in the other I didn't. Hard to explain, maybe the combination anime muisc?

I'll review the others one in another occasion :awesome:
