Translation help; I'm not sure ..

. I saw this passage in an anime and I'm not sure
which language its' in:

ECCE
Pro glorificum operem securitatis in annibersario biecesimo
Ostiae bobis colliget homines duos ab forma imaquaque.
Si boluntari nimis, per examinationem seligat
termino septimanae hujus.

. by sight, I was thinking Latin or Greek but .. .. !??

Looks like Latin to me. And Google Translate detects it as Latin, too.

He did say he saw it in an anime, so that's probably accurate.

First line calls it out as ECCHI too. Pretty sure the end bit says it's ending in September.

When I looked this passage up on Japanese sites, the original quote was a little different. It's actually "nimis multi," which makes a lot more sense. But the page I found with a picture of the actual manga included some Japanese that might have been a translation. If you have better copy of that page, it would be a lot easier to translate from Japanese than Latin. ^^;

Latin ^_^ .. the translation became a transliteration to me and ( yes it happens )
"I got confused!" ... sorry about this; I didn't know where to turn for the answer.

Okay, this is how I read it:

Pro glorificum operem securitatis in anniversario vicesimo
(H)ostiae vobis colliget homines duos ab forma unaquaque.
Si voluntari nimis multi, per examinationem seligat termino septimanae hujus.

Note that I referred to the wiki page about vulgar latin to add the h back onto ostiae. And so I get:

For the glorious work of security on this twentieth anniversary, you will choose two men from each form. If too many volunteer, the selection will be made by the end of this week.

I'll stand by that translation until someone who actually learned latin corrects me. I doubt this has anything to do with the anime, though. They probably just wanted some formal-looking latin text and nabbed this from somewhere. ^^;
