That's not really what the thread is about, but...

As of right now, I don't think we have a standard for that.
I'd suggest putting it under the original artist, and then putting the remix artist in the song title...like
Artist: TV On The Radio
Song: Red Dress (The Glitch Mob Remix)

I have a question...I'm uploading from a MAC and when I select the file that I want to upload, it keeps failing over and over again after getting to about 40%. Is there a specific type of file I should be using or any specs I can change to keep this from happening?

What's the filesize of your video? There's a limit of 150MB for normal users and 300MB for donators, if it's bigger than that, it would fail.

I'm really new when it comes to uploading videos here but I've been having a problem recently.
I've done all of the steps, all is fine, uploading looks good but then it stops and then restarts after a certain amount and I have no idea why this is happening.
If you can help that would be fantastic!

You sure the filesize is within the limit? Generally uploading stops when it reaches the limit, so if your file is over 150MB, it likely stops uploading once it reaches the 150 and then restarts due to that.

I'm having a problem that a couple other people are having here where my login info is 'incorrect' even tho I've quadruple checked everything. How do I request a new username and password for the FTP? Thank you.

The easiest way is to cancel the upload from the "Confirm Upload" page and to start the process over with a new upload request.

Connection timeouts usually are an indication that you do have a firewall. (Either your request is being stopped by the firewall, or the server's response is being stopped).

First thing: Make sure you're carefully typing (copy/pasting has given me issues) your ftp username and password (which is different than your site username and password).

Next: Dive into the program settings, and make sure you're set to passive mode.

If that fails: Delete your upload request, and then make a new upload request.
