I've gotten it and watched it. I honestly don't know what to say when it comes to this track. I have no clue what's going on in this track. I'm not trying to be harsh. So don't think I am. I'm just not sure what you're going for is all. Can you enlighten me a little? So that I can give a proper review?

When I started it, I was going with the Hello/Goodbye themes because of how the series began and ended, so that's the beginning and end, but then it kinda turned into the Romance and Adventure part in the middle and went downhill from there? The lyrics fit Nezumi in a way as well, so there's that too, too much going on basically.

Just put ffvideosource(filepathtomkvfile) in avisynth, run it through virtualdub and make the avi file that you need. >_<

You're planing to use the .avs script for editing, right?

I've never done that with .mkv or .mp4 files but I guess it should work. (I'd prefer to create a lossless .avi file from the script but if it works and you do not have the space or don't want to do it for whatever reason...why not?)

If your vegas is set up for that, then yes.

Well, I just tried using the scripts for MKV. It works using the scripts, however, they won't import into Vegas. Since vegas does not support MKV.

So, when I make my AVI from VDUb, how do I go about doing it? Do i save the whole episode? Or do I just get bits I wanna use? I suppose the latter would be more space efficient, I just don'ot like how long it takes to save each episode. There are 23 Episodes in Total. I was just curious how you goes go about doing it.

I see. I was actually kind of expecting it not to work.

I've done either way. If I already have a basic layout in mind, I pick the clips I know I'm going to use and those that I may use as they suit my overall topic.

However if I'm not completely sure I save the whole episodes.

I'd recommend clipping while listening to your music source. That always seems to help me a lot deciding which parts of the anime I can simply skip and which scenes are worth saving.

I've got about half of my DNAngel track done technically...but all the clips are spaced out so I have a lot of weird blanks so sending a beta right now would be kinda weird. I'll try to have an actual beta soon though.

Also, I'm going to be on a mission trip from the 21st to the 27th, so I'm not going to be able to be online or, you know, edit during that time. Just a heads up.

Alright. Just remember that we need to have this all done before AAC. We are premiering there after all.

Also, I have a full beta of my track zarxing now and will be sending everyone's way soon.

Sources being used are:

Haruhi, Deadman Wonderland, and AKB0048

Beta has been sent and the OP has been updated with my new sources.

Let me know your thoughts guys.

Here's my critique of my beta:

I think the beta is very solid up until the :34-35 Mark. After the girl raises her hand with the bright light effect, everythign aftre just seems slower than the rest of the vid. I think thats where I shold transition back to Deadman Wonderland. As everything after 34 is just so slow.

Other than that, I think it's ready to go. I'll wait for your opinions, but I think after I fix the above mentioned issue I think it could be good to go.

Thoughts?

What i think is that you should get rid of the deadman thing and haruhi and stick to dancing bitches because the animation style is different and i dont think it should switch back from a dance themed anime to something more horror and such. Itll look awkward as fuck and yeah the tracks pace does slow down a bit

That's essentially my opinion. The dancing bit is entertaining, but the DMW part just isn't really melding well.

Also, I think the intro credits could be put before your track starts and use a different Cascada song there. I'd like to see your full track with dancing. ;)

I made those specific credits parts for the first part of my track. So those are gonna stay. But I can make the rest of the track dancing if you wish. I told you guys from the get go though that that small amount of credits will be placed in the first 15 seconds of my track. Thats why the credits were designed the way they were. The actual credit credits will come at the end. As much as I would like to put editing at the first 15 seconds, I feel it's more important to have that 15 seconds build the mood and anticipation as opening credits. :awesome:

Whereas the epic credit credits version with the Cascade Like Jagger will come in at the end of the MEP. If you would like. I can make 2 seperate versions. 1 For The Con Premiere, which will be the credits version at the first 15 seconds, and after the premiere a version with actual editing. Up to you Code. But I really would prefer to keep those credits at the first 15 seconds. I think it builds anticipation.

Thanks for the input guys. I'll get to work using AKB0048 since that's what you guys want and I"ll scrap DMW. :)
