The one in your signature?

It still breaks the site's signature image rules.

Haha. No one could possibly be too stupid to understand my guide!

This is my signature. Don't like it? Blow me.
9 out of 10 AMV Creators agree! I'd make a kick-ass Mad-Hatter.
Suggest "Luke Valentine Says Blow Me" becomes it's own section! Moderated by yours truly! Put it right under "It's all about me" That way, I'll only be allowed to post there! A post anywhere else would get me banned! A suggestion for Luke is a suggestion towards a Luke-free Forum.

Opinion mode:

You can't really teach applicable knowledge to most people with putting it into context. Ingenuity is not easily drawn out of most people.

There is nothing wrong with wanting a 1 sentence answer to a question. In fact, a person who has gotten this far is further along than most of us half the time. Why? Because they think they know exactly what they want to do, even if they dont know how to do it. I hear people asking for/looking for ideas more than half the time i talk to them (or they talk to me). Get stuck, or whatever.

the tendancy of building a foundation without application of it is that pieces of the basics are forgotten easily from one lesson to the next.

good example. . .akuma productions? where are you? get in on this thread and tell people about how you were asking me to teach you how to use premier over Email last year. . .

i can see both points to this argument .. here i am a n00b .. with no expiriance using primiere .. but with a firm bases on my idea of what i want my work to be. i have read through half of the guides so far and was looking through the forum for suppliant(sp) information..

but if i looked at it from the other side.. of a person who has been working with these programs and utensels who had learned the ins and outs on their own... id like it if the newcomers to this genre of artistic expression didnt simply get their hand held through a step by step process and come out none the wiser to wtf. they just accomplished. i say the guides for the most part are sufficient as long as their are a few people out their to catch those who make serious attempts and get caught on a few error's or problems.
...the problem I see a lot is that many good amv makers think they suck, and many bad amv makers think they're good.
I've seen it happen, man! I've SEEN IT!..

and ... i also think luke is just trying to hide behind a wall of superiority because he himself is a
N00bies can't expect to be coddled. There isn't a simple answer to these problems. Take me for example: I'm just started to learn to edit subtitles out. So I came here, expecting it to be incredibly difficult. But thanks to the guides, I'm breezing through subtitle removing using the "Repeat Frame" and "Photoshop Edit" methods, and I understand the guides just fine. n00bs can't expect people to hold their hands through this process. But, if you've read their guides and you're still have problems, try reading mine:

because i believe that he himself still is a n00b at heart and only blerted out that to try to show others he is not the "coddled" that he despises.

god .. its almost 6 am lol .... im going to bed .. nite all
