So excited for this. Started to transcode files today. This is going to be my first non anime video for you. XD

Totally didn't even start on this after transcoding ended up causing 2 weeks of computer hardware tangents. My desire to edit anything plummeted to even lower depths.

Filled out the form for the other entry, though.

How's the amount of submissions doing?

Lower this year than last, so far. 15 videos actually received, 28 (total) according to the number of submission forms I've received. I expect to get a bunch in the last week, it always seems to go that way, but more submissions certainly wouldn't hurt, so feel free to poke/prod/annoy anyone who you think might want to submit.

Up to 42 entries, 27 of which have been safely received. The ratio of non-anime to anime submissions is WAY higher this year than in the past three years, it's so exciting to see so many editors playing with different sorts of footage.

Shocked I only have 2 MLP videos so far, though...

I'll be updating the thread title tomorrow to reflect the fact that it is one week until the deadline. As of now, the categories with the least submissions are:

Other
& Romance.

Seriously, where the bronies at? I was expecting at least ten MLP vids.

I don't think a lot of people who edit with MLP know that there are some anime conventions that have amv contests that accept non-anime music videos. I wouldn't have known about this one had it not been for my friend telling me about it.
