Re: Sankarea
I haven't seen the OVA yet but overall I'm a little disappointed in this series. I like it, and I enjoy watching it, but after a big buildup at the start the whole zombie thing has almost been a non-issue. She eats leaves, she's strong, and she needs to keep the AC up high... that's about it. You could take ALL of that out and it would be the exact same story of a daughter running from her crazy father.
I was really hoping her being a zombie would play a much bigger role in the show. I'm sure it'll come up at the end but I was hoping for more. I think a tragic, ultimately futile fight of a boy trying to save the girl he loves from slowly rotting away, and the eventual realization not only that it's not possible, but that his desire for an "undead girlfriend" were naive and childish.

Yeah it does seem a bit weird how lightly others have reacted to her zombiism. Then again she doesn't really look like a traditional zombie, but when she starts rotting and limbs start falling off or whatever, maybe they'll start realizing that, holy shit, she's a zombie.

I do love the show but I would have prefered if they had made it into an show about Rea secretly struggling not to eat Furuya. They did have a sceen that would open up this plot already.

Re: Sankarea
That was... a bit anticlimatic? It was a bit of a downer, but there seems quite a bit of unanswered stuff.
