Yeah, I feel the same. I figured it was just a possibility. Maybe if things get rather odd, we can call it AMV Salad: Midnight Snack or something and not even give it a number, but add the current clips to a more full version next year or something. At least then it will differentiate.

Anyway, heard back from Scott, we have until the 25th of this month to get the submissions in for the drafts of AMVS Reheated and AMVS6. That's to guarantee a spot, and then June 15th is the day it goes onto the servers. Absolute final deadline no matter what. He doesn't want it to be too much longer after the 25th though, so he can accurately schedule, so we may have to sort of make a projection of time for maybe 15 minutes? I'm sure there's some leeway, and plus at 1 AM, nobody really minds leaving a bit early, so when you submit, I'd say go for the 15 and if we fall short, we do, if we don't, we erred on the side of caution.

I still have ideas for a few more clips I can hopefully accomplish by then. At least two more, including the one I'll probably finish and upload tonight, and that Batman Beyond intro. I want to do another couple, but I also have a couple trips planned, so I shouldn't pretend I can do more than I really can.

I'd really like to do a large chat with a bunch of us and just have a fun brainstorming session, honestly. Who knows what will come of it, but would people be willing to give it a shot?

And my luck rears it's ugly head. I left my Dell tonight while I went out to my meeting to update and when I got home it was black screen and unresponsive. Hard turn off then tried to power back on but still black screen and now it's beeping at me. I am unsure as to when I can get it fixed but for the moment I am on my half dead Acer. I will still be working on clips and trying to redo the project files of the last ones I sent you. Thankfully I moved most of my footage onto my external drive but not all that I needed currently to work on. I will be doing my best the next couple of days to try and fix my main comp but it will take me a little bit longer than normal on this one to get things done. I'm not out of the fight yet..just...hobbling a bit.

The Otakon release form goes out in the mail Thursday and this project doesn't get into the parodies without it.

Also, I'm working on a beta of a beta but am having to re-encode some clips because Vegas won't read the video stream attributes as they are now.
Probably by the time you wake in the morning will there be a DL link to it.
It needs to be viewed and we need to discuss placement / arrangement for the final.
No "final beta" this year since the final Otakon due date is also the first day of AMA.

We have no time to waste now, y'all.
I'm counting on you since you've never let me down before...

Okay...so I guess the name of this year's project, as long as no one has an objection, will be
AMV Salad 6: Snack Pack
...so named because of the shorter length and the fact pudding packs come with six cups.

Only thing now is to work up a simple graphic to send along by Friday for the Otakon program book...
