^one of the few lessons my dad plainly told me as a kid was "always catch a caterpie, not a metapod. Caterpie learns tackle, which you can use to train it as a metapod, but if you catch a metapod, it'll only know harden."

Awesome. Awesome to the max.

This is the kind of Pokemon anime I've been wanting since 2001.
"Someday humankind will come to understand one another! I sincerely believe that!" Fei Fong Wong
"We live to make the impossible possible! That is our Focus!" Claire 'Lightning' Farron
"Believe in yourself, and create your own destiny. Don't fear failure." Toonami

The Lord Jesus Christ is the only way.

It has been YEARS since I've looked this forward to a video game, if my new avatar was any indication.

I think we're finally seeing the Pokemon game franchise evolve into something solid story-wise, and this video sort of solidifies my theory that Nintendo is going deeper with the main franchise games.

Really, it started with Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. Global issues (land VS sea). D/P/Pl followed up on this by throwing in philosopy with cyrus. B/W basically summoned forth the thought of pokemon rights. B/W2? Well, it's obvious that Team Plasma still exists, and I hope that we see a followup to the main storyline, much similar to G/S did to R/B/Y.

Plus, Elesa's makeover and the two new gym leaders (and the older Bianca/Cheren) makes me think that this game is going to be a pure sequel (not just a remake), and the large quantity of non-unova pokemon seems to show that the Unova region is evolving.

What really makes me wonder, however, is the promindence of the region that is bound in ice. Is Unova in trouble? (Although Platinum did the same thing. Is the world heading to an ice age?) Should I be consulting a real estate agent? :uhoh:
