I ended up throwing out probably half of my stuff; my mother was not so willing with her things. (Honestly, a four bedroom house to a two bedroom apartment? Come on, Mom, be realistic.) Despite that, this is in the happy thread because all of this exhaustion means that I am now comfortably settled into an apartment - with hot water and electricity, neither of which I have possessed in some time now.
Of course, I could stand to have a decent, home-cooked meal (my cooking, that is), but one thing at a time...
There are still a lot of bumps to be smoothed out. I wouldn't be so quick to breathe a sigh of relief just yet. The financial situation continues to be shaky, Mom and I are still in a gritty patch of our relationship, and I probably owe my sister and her husband until the end of time (without them, we would be homeless right now), but for the moment, I can sleep fairly soundly at night.

One of my coworkers came up to me and said I write really good emails. How did I get so good at it?
I ran a high traffic DBZ website for over 3 years where I was constantly answering emails on why SSJ3 Goku couldn't beat Brolly.![]()
Who knew that making websites about kid's anime shows would equate to real working skill sets?![]()
