Re: Update
Nice to hear from ya, man. Keep doing what you're doing. I'm chasing an independent music career myself...

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Re: Update
It's a redemption story disguised as a noir thriller with a happy ending.Animated wrote:Well, those were some good news Beo! Any info about the movie though? No? Not at all?
It has an amazing soundtrack.
It will be cheap to film.
115 of the 177 scenes are at night time.
It has a scene that will make a lot of women leave the theatre.
It is entirely dependent on the performance of the lead. It's a movie about one person.
It's an 'internal struggle' movie without a lot of scenes of the lead looking pensively out a window.
All the characters are lifted from or based upon people I know. Let's hope they don't sue me.
The story is about as archetypal as it gets, just updated for our times. I think people will connect with it.

Damn dude. A while back, I read one of your posts about how your AMVs helped get you to a better place in your career (or something like that). Some of what you/others said back then, and my love of editing, pushed me to move to LA and start my editing career. I worked on a feature starring Lance Henriksen 3 years ago:

But even after all that time, it's film festival premiere (in LA) was just a weekend ago. When I finished that gig, I was out of work for a little while during the dark times of 2009. Hell, even network producers couldn't get financing for TV shows then. I was supposed to be an editor for a "picked up" new series, but it totally fell apart. I was broke and living with my fiance, and she too suddenly decided to leave me after we had had a great 4 year relationship. For the past few years, I've worked a good stable job making stuff like this,

but eventually, even though it's tough as hell, I plan on making my way back to features and TV series. It feels great to see your name on the big screen. Definitely don't skimp on the budget for a good DP. I think you're in a good spot to be doing what you want, so good luck!
