I've been using rechargeable batteries for nearly 6 years now. After about a $40 investment (several batteries, AA and AAA, and the charger), I haven't paid for any more. Also, the batteries in my mouse and keyboard tend to last 6 months or more before I need to charge them. I don't like wires because of drag and because of the already messy area behind my PC (despite having them all tied up and separated). Also, there are more expensive mice out there with adjustable weights, thumb- and pinky-shelves to reduce drag, optional wired/wireless connections, and precision modes to instantly reduce sensitivity when you need to do something like draw a straight line.

This literally happened in my school the year I graduated. True story. :uhoh:

That moment when you realize that you spent so much time rewinding a show's theme song, you ran out of free time to watch the show. (I've listened to Arashi no Hero at least 40 times now and I'm still on the 5th episode of The Brave Express Might Gaine.)

I hate it how people in this town constantly switch between French and English mid sentence. Yeah, sure, I understand both when spoken separately, but it's really hard to understand that you're asking me a question when you switched to French for the end. D:

Guess it won't be getting any better, moving to Montreal and all next year...

Some of my friends do that with Spanish. Only I hardly know any Spanish and they usually just do it to annoy me.

I always get my jimmies kind of rustled whenever a little kid defeats me in Tatsunoko VS Capcom by randomly smashing buttons. No matter who I'm using, the end result is always a loss for me when I'm up against the "hurrdurr smash buttonz" strategy.

Also, I was sort of annoyed when I realized that I will never be able to play video games of any sort on a competitive level, win a big AMV contest, or finish my massive backlog of anime. (Of course, that last one might be sort of a good thing, depending on how you look at it...)

^ I'm the same way. I'm not a very competitive gamer to begin with and, except in a few cases, I rarely get really good at a game. I play games solely for fun, and if I'm playing with someone super competitive I will probably not play for long unless they're not being an asshole about it. I rarely want to put in the time and effort it takes to be really good. As for AMVs, I did win runner-up at ACen for one of my videos one year, but that won't happen again even if I do start editing again.

When you're hacking the school's mac computers and the bell rings before you can delete the admin account you created.

That's pretty much what I'm picturing right now. Only less that and more changing terminal window colours and viewing directories via CLI to impress his friends. |:

Quicker than typing "Going into mac single user mode and creating a new admin account using 3 commands and renaming the computer after a character in Mirai Nikki"

This happened me a year ago:

I requested a DVD for HOTD, when I received it I open it and check the box having the DVDs inside. I invited some friends to come and watch the first season.
When I played the DVDs my surprise was that even when those DVDs have the HOTD's cover, they were about Yuri.
Then my friends were like: it's this a joke?!

I'm a bit confused. So, they sent you some hentai instead?
