Nobody is watching the second season? :(

Just finished watching episodes 6 and 7. I'm actually really impressed with the show. For me it's not just another example but perhaps the example of slice-of-life done well. It's pretty boring on the surface, as it avoids all theatrical drama, but, rather than just filling the gap with shallow humor, it finds meaning in very casual everyday life moments and aestheticizes them in a good way. Everything is done with a very careful delicate touch (in terms of pacing, visual angles, quiet music or rather the lack of it, etc.) It's very impressive!
Spoiler :
I'm also pleased with the way the show handles all its romantic drama. Although it doesn't play the key role in the series I think there is, in a way, something to be found here that's missing from typical shoujo for instance (although the ending of episode 7 of season 2 implies there might be some sweet stuff coming up in the following episodes). There's no guarantee here that things will turn out well in spite of all anxiety. Quite on the contrary! The most common atmosphere that we find here is that of bittersweet emotions, frustration, unrequited love and so on. It's not even depressing but rather liberating.
