A high schooler, who is abnormally bad at communicating with other people, and this way had no friends before: Yuki.
A self-proclaimed alien, who tries to make Yuki go fishing with him: Haru.
A born and raised Enoshima boy, who is irritated by almost everything in his environment: Natsuki.
A mysterious Indian who keeps watching them from a reasonable distance: Akira.
These four, who are wasting their youth, keep meeting, fishing, and this little island becomes a place of great happenings...
From now on starts an SF (shounen fishing) adventure!

Re: Tsuritama
Perhaps some of you already now, but I am a Nakamurafag of sorts. Hell, I didn't even dislike [C] despite the outcome, so you can guess I'm pretty hyped for this.
I liked the first episode, especially the beginning with the textures was very much to my liking. I have hopes for this, I hope I won't be let down.

Re: Tsuritama
I felt like the first half of episode 1 was a little slow (and just plain confusing at the VERY beginning) but by the end I totally loved it. 'Looks like it'll be a fun little show. : D
(Tsuritama is Nakamura's? Well damn, I hated [C] but I'm loving this!)

Almost everybody seems to think [C] was utter garbage. I can't even deny it, though...EkaCoralian wrote:(Tsuritama is Nakamura's? Well damn, I hated [C] but I'm loving this!)
But Nakamura has done much better stuff in the past. I mean, check out Trapeze and Mononoke. Definitely worth it.

And I liked it... I was bit confused at the end but it was original and really cool..mirkosp wrote:Almost everybody seems to think [C] was utter garbage. I can't even deny it, though...EkaCoralian wrote:(Tsuritama is Nakamura's? Well damn, I hated [C] but I'm loving this!)

Re: Tsuritama
Indeed. Ep 5 was the best one so far. Glad to see Nakamura doing a very good show this time around.
