I went to your site mckeed and I didn't see any indication of location for the events.

Having a party after the panel at 9AM might be a bit...unrealistic. So, we have a running tab of what people are bringing but it'll be difficult to set up equipment just anywhere. Can we get some locations from those who can host? Or does anyone know that, since the con has the whole center at it's disposal, we could use a room there?

How about 7:00 pm then in front for the Convention center (main entrance?). We can be there till about 7:15 or so and then head out someplace. After that we can see if there is anything else anyone wants to do.

Met at AX at the same time and things work out really well.

Anyone else in on this? Any other suggestions?

Which day do you mean for this? Friday, I'll be in-town but not in the convention so meeting outside would be great :)
I'd have to go find a theater and watch Goldmember that night if I don't hook up with some of you guys. The science museum closes early :? And I know of nothing else to do that night.

If you mean Saturday night instead, that's great as well :)

I am busy making cd's for my trip. Not amv cd's...music ones. I have an 8 hour drive from Ohio. Good music = a necessity

Can you believe I have been to Baltimore but never yet seen the Atlantic ocean? Just the bay. Gonna be a tourist for a day :P

Quick update - if all goes correctly, I will be arriving at roughly 9pm (unless I REALLY speed and NEVER stop, in which case it may be around... oh, I dunno... 8?). I'm meeting up with Quu and Mike Barranti (if he doesn't have to work) at around noon or 1 here. Then I'll leave with Gambitt. All of this exposition is to explain, basically, that I won't know until Wed (maybe Thurs) if I'm leaving at 9am or 1pm. It's an 8 hour drive from here. So, whoever is around for a Thurs. get-together, that's our possible schedule. If that makes sense. I am so disorganized right now. Vlad, what do you think? Hsien? You'd BETTER smoke a Turkish Gold... I don't CARE if you've quit! DAMNIT! Okay, that's it, I'll probably modify this post later, as it might not make any sense. So tired. DAMN YOU DDR TRACK!!!

Sounds good. Howard Street Lobby right? Or do you want Charles Street Lobby(at the other end of the BCC)?

About the meeting, me and Vlad are talking about Thursday. We are taking is a day at a time. Hopefully We can setup more stuff and relay it to other people over time. It is much eazyer to set stuff up in person because everyone (who meets thursday anyway) will know what room number they have fo there hotel and all that.

Well to see the Ocean you still have a few hours of driving to do once you get to baltimore. The quickest way would be to go through Delaware. But the way that is most fun (and takes a few more hours both ways) is to go to Ocean City, Maryland.

There is nothing wrong with playing tourist. I live here (In Baltimore County about a mile from the City/County line), but rarely do anything in the city. Not good with all the stret names either, but I know where things are (by location). So don't feel bad.

Yes, 9pm Thurs. - MAYBE (not as likely) 6pm Thurs. It all depends on Mike and Pat. And whether or not I wake up. But I'll say the absolute latest I'm getting in on Thurs. is 10pm, which I really don't want to do. So I'll just go ahead and say yes, 9pm. I'll bring my laptop to check this thread when I get in. Later!

Since I've never been there, pick the easiest one and we'll go form there. I'll confirm it On Wednesday before I leave. I can always give me cell phone number as well to those comming to the meeting just in case, but I think if we confirm on Wednesday night, I don't see a problem...

Heya, Everyone!

I'm so exhausted after Shoujocon... Whose idea was it to put two cons that I absolutely have to go to next to each other? This is gonna kill me...

I'll be arriving around 8-9am on Friday. Just in time for morning traffic, check-in madness at hotels, and missing everything on Thursday night. *sigh*

As to a party in my room: I remember saying something like, "If no one is throwing one, I'll look into getting my room clear and maybe hold something there..." This seems to have turned into a definate. Um... It's still not definate for me, and I'm rather notorious for not throwing good parties. I was thinking more of a place for us to hang out for a few hours and talk shop/eat bad snacks. I've got a reservation for two rooms. IF I can get two adjoining rooms, then it won't be much of a problem to toss everything from one room into the next and have an empty room for all of us. BUT, judging by how screwed up the hotels have been in the past at that time, that's a pretty big if.

Ok then, Howard Street lobby it is. Here is a link to a better map then what I showed you last time: http://www.bccenter.org/about/map_big.html
We will meet at the BCC at the intersection of Pratt Street and Howard Street (the top left corner of the BCC as shown on the map).

The hotel marked as #12 on the map is where I am staying (Radisson). It is also where Scott is staying so he has told me.

I know what you mean about the Hotels. The person I am staying with (or should I say the one the booked the room, as I am staying with a group of 6) had reservations for a double, then at the last minute they gave him a king. We figure we can "rip" the bead apart (into two seperate matraces, I can't spell, k?) and do that.

Oh and to add on to my last post. I will give out the cell number of the phone I will have with me (my moms). I don't know how good the battery is, but I will try to leave it on as long as possible starting Thursday afternoon (I will post the number wed i guess).
