Pwolf wrote:This was a really solid contest all around. Talking to several editors, fans, and listening to what people had to say during the con, we all had different opinions as to which categories were strong and which ones weren't... in my book, that's a plus. Big congrats to all those who won and all those who competed. It was a good show. Big props to Castor Troy for not only winning here but he also defeated me at the Iron Editor event as well.
Yeah, it was quite a strong contest and I even saw a few overflow videos that could have competed with the actual finalists, but sadly, there's not enough room for them all...

I was literally sweating bullets the entire Iron Editor since I wasn't too confident in my concept and knowing how much more experienced you are in IC'ing (you are the king after all..). I was also having premiere crash quite often due to one source *cough*hellsingultimate*cough*. Luckily, the secret source saved my video quite a bit!

I was pretty shocked that I won

Although I admit your video was bit more well polished editing wise.

Yes! Thrilled that I even made it in this year, let alone won my category :)

Also, props to everyone else, I think there were a lot of really strong entries! I especially want to congratulate Brittany Jung, 1000% Sexy was definitely my favorite of the show.

Now that winners are announced I can say my favorite in show without risk of skewing voting. It was Clubbin with Lupin

Vlad and I were thinking these 2 videos were gonna compete for best of show based on the crowd reaction.

Probably my favorite video in the contest was Coup d'état (Long Live the Shadow King) since I'm a sucker for The Lion King and I used to sing "Be Prepared" all the time in my youth... :bzz:

When looking at the finalist list, that was the last one I thought would take parody (thought the other Ouran video would win), but I didn't take into consideration the Lion King fanbase...interesting results.

Congrats to the winners.
