Hi everyone,

I just released my newest amv. Its the forth one I have made and I think it is my best one yet. I would love if people could check it out and give me some input so I know what I could improve on in the future.

I think you had a good concept. The scenery/visuals just didn't really match it up.

I felt like the whole thing was just a tad slow. This song IS slower than most, but I felt like there were some really epic moments in it that were just ignored.

The sources were also a little muddled in terms of choices. Shana and the other action ones were really well chosen, but ToraDora looks just out of place. Compared to the big time action/movement in the other anime, ToraDora's static scene just didn't really give as much to the project as the others did.

I hate giving this as a critique, but I felt like you really didn't sync the music well and relied far too much on the lyrics of the song to get the message across. You hit the beat sync nicely at times with the drums and the zoom ins though. I just think making a more consistent sync (pacing perhaps) would have brought this over the top and into that realm of above average videos. (For exmaple, one of the biggest parts of the song is the part when they're scremaing I NEED A HERO, and you've got a very static/still scene there. This is where I like seeing the kickass stuff. Although this is my personal opinion and not an absolute law. XD)

For 123 MB, this visual quality is also really messy (and big!). The encoding to WMV likely has to do the most with the blocky footage. I suggest taking some time to invest in learning how to encode into MP4 using ZarxGui. ;)

Still, you're making steady progress. The video itself was average and had some nice moments that I enjoyed watching. Keep going! :)
