damnit ya made me go look for it in my pile .. found it

Maboroshi Studios
Song: Empire of the Sun
Anime : Grave of the Fireflies

awesome video, great anime .. the perfect example that you do not need alot of fancy effects , as long as you get a song that fits the anime so well .

1st was Turboneko's Reverse Madness (X), that was last year, I think. And then in early this year I saw Jbone's Renegade Megadeus (Big-O)

Ah, so we meet at last.....

I shall kill you and your conflicting taste in anime with my Ninja panda!

Indeed we do...

Your ninja panda is no match for my hordes of anime lacking in sanity *throws Excel and several Azumanga charecters at the pands*.

I normally try to catch new anime on my own, but before I started making AMVs the AMV X - Duhast got me to watch the movie. Later on I ran into series. I did see Kyoto Kombat, but that didn't inspire me to watch Kenshin, I just watched it cause I saw it.

The Path Of Deus (and the name of the creator seems to have slipped my mind) reached out, grabbed me, put me in a choke hold and demanded that I watch every episode of Angelic Layer before it let me go. Now I have AL posters of my walls and I feel an itching sensation in my wallet every time I see an AL DVD. :D
ErMaCs Soul of an Angel was strong enough that I went against all my intuition and friends recomendations against it and watched Evangelion. I was SO disapointed, and End of Evangelion made it worse. Thanks ErMaC, Jerk... why you have to make such great amvs...
Odorikuruu made me see Excel saga, but Im not giving any more attention to that video....

True, often AMVs can make something seem a lot more epic than they actually are. Have I already said this? If so it was too long ago to remember and I'll say it again. :P
