of course all this talk makes me wish my 17" didn't die on me... now I want to buy another 24" to make up for the dead space ;_;

I can't believe that I used to edit AMVs on a 14" at 1024x768... Or a 21" at 1600x1200. Even 1920x1080p feels 'cramped' for me these days, I just know that I couldn't afford anything higher res for a good while.

1920x1080 on a 24" with a 17" preview monitor has worked well for me.

30" Main monitor @ 2560x1600 and a 24" 1920x1200 preview monitor. It's pretty nice!

I had intended to post this last year, but wasn't able to get to it. anyways, that is a 1080 monitor, about 21 inches, and the PC is solid, though nothing amazing.
