Animé-nia

Luckily I live in Canada, so I get YTV. So much anime... :D And they'll finally be showing some more Escaflowne and Gundam Wing.

Yes, this channel does show anime, but it's mostly dumbed down for younger viewers. :( You know, the edits and all that. But it's anime, and I don't have to go out and buy it in order to watch it. :D

Yes, and unlike FOX, Escaflowne isn't edited to nothing on YTV. The YTV version has all the music still there, and it has all 26 episodes, too. I can't wait to see some more Gundam Wing. I love that show, and I missed the episodes; I need to buy some episodes on DVD.

He-man rocks.

I'm in the UK, so we used to get Toonami, now we get a new Cartoon Network Channel CNX, with Bebop, Outlaw Star and the like. Otherwise its either Evangelion, Martian Successor Nadesico and a random Anime movie once a week on Sci Fi, or 'Beyblade' and other such similar calibur anime's on Fox Kids. :D

I went to Future Shop taday, and they had all these new DVD box sets. About 219.99 for the 10 DVD set of GW, 249.99 for the 8 DVD set of Escaflowne (with the Black Escaflowne figure)... Talk about giving an arm and a leg.

He-man? There's limits even to nostalgia. Now Thunder Cats was a show that still rocks.

Also Transformers Armada is awful, worse even than Robots in Disguise. The comic version is much better in terms of quality and writing *damns Hasbro again for their liscencing evils and hopes alternative sources can sson be found*

~hates you as much as possible for that comment~

You're getting a thorough kicking next term. With such lines as 'By the power of Grayskull!' and quality animation ( :D ) like this:

Who can not love He-man?

It's not the old He-Man, it's a new version "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe"...

He-Man certainly kicked ass, and it still does.

I am still hoping they release the series on DVD, just like they are doing with The Transformers.
