Microwaving a pizza, only to see you put it on for too long, then having to put it in a freezer to cool it off, but then doing that too long, and having to put it back in the microwave, causing an endless cycle unless you break it down to a science.

Also:
Buying a DVD, only to see it's really interlaced.

Discussing anime in public, only to see that the person you're talking to doesn't know what Legend of the Galactic Heroes is and only watches Naruto.

Having your OCD kick in while playing a video game, thus making you lose, due to your obligatory sense of balancing controls. (Should I strafe left or right? Do I activate all of my augments, none of them, or only the evenly numbered ones? Might as well stay even and in the middle... Never mind, I got shot.)
