Hello everyone. I've been around for a couple years now and I've learned a lot about video processing and editing, but I have only just recently started to think about using color/brightness/contrast etc. adjustments to give my videos better quality. Does anyone have any advice for learning how to do such things well? Or does anyone know of any resources that might help me learn to do such things myself? I would appreciate any good advice on the matter.
Thanks.
PS. I know that, in general, anime is already presented how the creators intended - but that isn't always how you want the footage to look in your video. We all know that DVDs can often be mastered poorly as well, making such skills even more crucial.

Re: Color correction and other various video tweaks
Step One: understand luma intensity scale and how it isn't linear (ie gamma)
Step Two: there is no step two
