Magnus always had such a positive outlook on life and the determination to beat his cancer. I didn't know him that well personally, but I was inspired by his will to live and I would have loved to hang out with him at a con.

He went down fighting and we will always remember his legacy.

Another one of us falls. Knowing that it would be coming doesn't really help though. I will miss his work and his pictures that had a way to brighten up my day.

He will be missed.

Ouch. Just ouch. Zetzu was an editor after my own heart. I was especially found of his simple, romantic videos like his Bokura ga Ita video, Our Farewell, which I am playing in memorial now...

Here's to you, dude.

I can't say I spoke with Magnus often, but whenever he did, I was astounded by how generous and easygoing he was. It's very clear that he touched the lives of many people, and it's an honour to call him a friend.

His outlook was nothing short of inspiring, and I wish that I could claim to have even a fraction of his courage and strength.

He will be dearly missed.

Wow! right after his interview! (probably days after since Code is such an infamous procrastinator putting things together and all!! j/k) Sorry my mind tends to wonder when faced with tragedy, it's a defense mechanism. I'm just 'stoked' that he got his interview in, a fighter to the end! A sad, sad day indeed and I'll shutup now. Condolences to his family and friends!

I never talked to Magnus until just a few days ago, but it's great that I got to talk to him. He was a great guy who took what he was dealt as best as he could. It's a shame that a guy with so much talent and drive died so young.

I'll have a drink to his memory.

I didn't get to know him but as I read what he wrote, I admired him for his unbelievably amazing courage. I hope he is happy.

Remember the first time we spoke, you thought i had some potential in my editing while i did those horrifying naruto amv's back in 05.
Showed me some really cool tricks and asked me to join your awesome new studio called cup of ramen studios. I gladly accepted.

Half a year later you introduced me to an awesome editor called Niwa, we had such blast the three of us, laughing in ventrilo, doing those crazy ic's, i learned so much from you just by listening and watching. That winter in 06 when you came to my place and had niwa with you was so much fun, remember when you pranked us while we were sleeping, or the thing with Niwa's coffé haha!

We became better friends, better editors and more mature! (Not me, but you) We started the studio Digital Flow and met some wonderfull people under those years(Blabbler, Nunchuck, Kyo and so fourth) I would have never continued to edit if it wassn't for you! You will be missed as a brother, an artist and most of all as a friend.

This was shot ten days ago, he was so happy to go to the states to meet allot of you guys here on the org, we talked about it so much and i was so jelous! I know he loved all of really much and i know when i say this, We love you Zetzu4Real!

Hello a-m-v.org

Yesterday magnus called me. He told me that the cancer had spread to the liver and that neither he or the doctors knew if he would survive the night.
Enough said, it was a rough night.
This morning i called him and his brother answered. I've never heard a man so sad.
Magnus was still with us but he was very weak and he didn't have much time left.

around a quarter after four i recived the call from his brother. Magnus had passed away 16:05, swedish time. He didn't suffer and his family was with him. A family which i know loves him very much

I've known Magnus for quite some time. I have never seen a man with such passion for music and editing in all my life. I dont know much about AMV's, but his videos has made me weep more then once. He have been with me through thick and thin, the true definition of a friend. Now i hate myself for not being able to do more for him.
Its unfair. So very unfair.

I will miss him so very fucking much.
He had many friends

I met Zetzu back in 2006. We had a long history, even ended up being in the same studio for a bit before he went to Aun. R.I.P.

Brad wrote:My first instinct right now is to be angry and upset and bitter. And maybe that's okay in a situation like this. But at the same time, a big part of me is saying to focus on the fact that he never let his condition bring him down. He was always a fighter and always an intensely bright human being. To say "life is unfair" and "he was too young" and "why do awful things happen to great people" are all justifiable, but all I really want to do is give him a hug and tell him he'll be sorely missed... My heart is exceptionally heavy right now but I want to send my condolences, thoughts and prayers to his family. There is no greater pain than losing a child and I can't even begin to imagine what his parents are going through right now.

We'll all miss the hell out of you Magnus. It was a sincere honor to know you and call you a friend.

This.

the dz crew has always been tight with Magnus, and he will always be a part of dz. We were like a family, I loved him, and we all did. I remember bringing him off of youtube and teaching him as much as I knew, and he took off with it. I am at a real loss for words right now, i've been crying on and off...
