I am not looking for character performing kamikaze attacks, but of scenes depicting WWII Japanese pilots performing kamikaze attacks.

Having a surprisingly hard time find thing any.

Leiji Matsumoto's "The Cockpit" is a 3 episode OVA about different (fictional) kamikaze pilots in WWII.
