The nesting at the end I'm using a chroma mask over the same footage that's below it but both clips that are in the main nest are at 103% size, then apply a chroma key over the main nest so only that colored portion goes through. then I vary the opacity with the beat so those colors are pulsing through that section of the video....

....perhaps there's an easier way to do this >_>
