Re: JCAs 2012 - In preparation
Interesting. I'll like to nominate my judges now, but I'm waiting for the Frenchs and the Russians (I spend more time with my comrades so I'll wait for them)
Also, in all the editions of the JCAs has been there a draw in the finals? Is there an alternate plan in case we got it and the second voting doesn't change it?

I guess we can vote now? Assuming none of these will opt out (I'll change later if need be), these are my personal picks.
kireblue [Person of great character, and has done a remarkable job with judging for me in the past, taking his position very seriously]
Kosmit [Did a fantastic job with judging last year, and was an excellent judge for me in the past. Plus, he usually has many foriegn AMVs into the mix, which is great!]
Otohiko [Has done a fantastic job in the past, and has judged extremely well for me in the past. Analyzes everything very carefully, and just does a really great job]
I wish I could nominate about 15 people, because I honestly have a list a mile long of people that would do a great job with this. XD Also, I wanted to nominate a person from France as well, but I quickly realized that I don't know any *active* french editors personally. >_>'

The last year I decided the winner. This year I'll probably ask some reliable extra person if that happens ^^TritioAFB wrote:Interesting. I'll like to nominate my judges now, but I'm waiting for the Frenchs and the Russians (I spend more time with my comrades so I'll wait for them)

Ha I remember the debates from last edition after the winners annoucements
So let's try to get more judges from different communities.

Well after reviewing the 213 entries from AC, I guess I'm ready for this if you want me

Re: JCAs 2012 - In preparation
Should also probably consider having a judge who hasn't been too heavily involved in judging in the past (in any of the communities) just for the sake of bringing in a fresh prespective/wildcard.

Actually I was thinking the same as mister Brisco. But just to make sure that the JCAs will work this time, you should also take someone as a moderator to the Judges just in case
