I really like that you're doing this. I think that it would be awesome if these were actually put on the interview page on the main site. http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... w_list.php

It may be just me, but I don't think there is a shift in the way the community thinks about competition and everyone going after wins, but more of a change in the mindset of the newbies. I think there is an extra layer of intimidation due to the fact that videos use more special effects and are way more impressive looking these days. I'm not sure how many times I've heard newbies comment that they wanted to make a video but they didn't think they could do impressive special effects.

Anyways, I have to agree with the others, these interviews should be in the interview section on the main page :)!

Or, perhaps, the community became even more vibrant to the point where could speak their intentions and motivations openly without shame keeping them humble.

To be honest, though, I haven't seen much of that viewpoint openly expressed in people's words. I can see it more in actions (rampant contest trolling) if that's what you were getting at...

And I have to agree to the part about org community. I've been interested in making AMVs for about 3 years now and, you see, I've also known a-m-v.org site since, but was unable to join and become active then. It felt more like a place only for professionals, contests, some super advanced stuff. It took my quite much time to write anything here and that was... a month ago?
So I absolutely agree with what you said about recent org community, I'm really glad you pointed it out. :)
And again, I just love The Lip Flapper.
Wanna know a secret? It's really not a place for professionals. We're just all people wanting to improve ourselves and have fun doing it. So PLEASE don't be afraid to get more active. Yeah, we're a little trolly and we're really harsh critics, but we're really all good people.

A: I've got the two big ones done already so all that's left is Windows Phone 7.
Wait, what about BlackBerry OS?
:rofl:
My hopes for Razor compatibility is shot then. ;____;

Thanks to everyone for reading! I'm glad some people are enjoying the series. I may make it into a weekly thing, but with an editorial every off-week that there's not an interview planned. I'm still on the fence about that, but if I can find the time to really type something interesting up and worth people's time, I may just go ahead and publish it.

This was good. I also interviewed Scott once, in bed.
