Video Appearance

Not sure what section this question would actually fall under so figure general section. Anyway, after rendering the video, while the quality remains, the video appears to have a grid like pattern of dots, which are most visible against black background. Is this something that resulted from the way I encoded it or what?

There not extremely visible in the screenshot, but you can still make out the grid like pattern of dots.
