Oddest group of things you've purchased (all at once) at the store that might have people questioning you? :|

About 20 rolls of paper towels, gasoline fluid and lighters. They actually called security on me. :/

What they didn't realize is that I was buying them for our church's charity fourth of July dinner for the less fortunate. Thankfully, my pastor came down and defused the situation.

Preparation H, Saran Wrap, and....
Spoiler :
a banana
first two items are an old Army trick for those with large love handles to loose a few inches on their sides in attempts to make it within the Army's body fat standards. Being on recruiting duty, I employed this tactic on some of my more copious enlistees. The other was, well, I was hungry. Wasn't until I got to the cash register to check out and got "the look" that I thought about how the situation looked like, while I was attempting to purchase these items in uniform, with one of those enlistees mentioned. I simply replied with, "Don't ask and I won't tell." :nose:

Friend of mine was caught between which got the better reaction...

1) Pregnancy Test + single wire coat hanger.
2) Bottle of lube + candy + VHS copy of Bambi

Hannah Montana DVD, water-based lube (can't have them condoms popping!), condoms, and nail clippers.

A 24-pack of Pepsi, some Krispy Kreme donuts, and a can of aerosol duster. Also funny was that the age verification thing didn't come up until the donuts were scanned, so I was the one confused about why they'd need to card me for donuts.

It was the aerosol duster that got you carded. Same thing happens to me all the time!

Yeah, I figured that out about a second after my confusion about the donuts subsided.

Of course, given the side effects (i.e. risk of frostbite or accidentally damaging components if it's too close or not held the right way) of using the darn thing, I think I'll stick to using a regular old mechanical air compressor to do it from now on. We have one, but it's a bitch to move into the right place so that there's enough room for it and the computer in the same area.

the reason they card your for the can of aerosol duster, is the fact that people use them to get high

I know that's why they card you for it (despite the 'includes a bitterant to deter huffing' warning label on the can).
