I'll send in two videos for this. If I can sort out this export error I keep getting, by tomorrow morning, one of them will be a new video.

Was originally going to send my newest one, but in this case I think I'll send in my older Bebop one that didn't make it in last year.
Under The Box Productions is my studio.

Hm... One of my videos has an intro that is part of the amv itself. I modified it a little bit to make it work with anime usa, hopefully that'll make it kosher. I don't wanna take it out, it'll play strangely. But I do want to ask: does having any intro text, even as part of the video, end up disqualifying it?

If it's part of the video, then it's fine. If it's some random text paired with 30-seconds of an unrelated Linkin Park song slapped onto the beginning, then it's not needed. EVER. The reason behind this is that we make title cards for everyone that lists studio, video title, song, and artist. If you add the same info before your actual video even starts, then you're just wasting screen time. If 18 entries do that for 10 seconds each video, then that means I have to cut an extra 3-minute video from the final contest to make time.

This rule is NOT because we have mandatory blind judging where you'll get canned if you even hint at who you are. We don't have that. We have voluntary blind judging, in that the pre-screened videos have the studio names removed from the title cards for those who would PREFER to be judged anonymously. Again, anonymity is not required.

Ah, good, then I won't worry. Thanks for the quick reply.

You'll be getting two more submissions from me very shortly. Hopefully the contest isn't TOO low on submissions this year?

Yay! Both my entries made the cut! (It's not like I'm going to win with the other finalists announced, but still, this looks good.)
