I understand Jesus is an easy target, but I'd appreciate it if everyone would be respectful with their comments. ^^;

This video seems to have stirred up many different opinions...so Im interested to see what the good people at the Org have to say about it.

I suppose I'll just have to let the video speak for itself this time.

What on earth is this anime? Something like an anime version of The Passion of the Christ? It seems to have repeated the same flaws as Gibson's film, which turned the torment of a man into a sadistic gore fest with a pathetic excuse of a theologico-ethical meaning. I totally reject the idea that the film somehow portrayed how Jesus suffered for the whole humanity. Displaying suffering in the way Gibson does can only follow the perverse logic of sadistic but romanticized violence. But I'm going offtopic.

Let's just say your editing wasn't bad. You could have used better the most intense parts of the song and perhaps highlight beat sync at some points but I would say overall the video flowed pretty smoothly. Mood sync was quite excellent with the clips matching the intensity of the song. I also liked your very linear narrative. It was really easy to follow the course of events here, perhaps especially due to your "invisible" editing. By "invisible" I mean that there were no fancy effects of sync patterns so the focus is fully on the story itself.

I think I realize the main issue with the video being a lack of footage, since I now see where it's just a 9 minute OVA. It seemed to lack some intense "pow" editing during the more dramatic parts of the song. I think a slower song might have done your concept a little more justice. But I mean, if you wanted to create a dramatic piece, then you've accomplished that.

I must say, this gave me chills and I am amazed you could made an amv using only 9 minutes of footage. XD

This kinda gave me an creepy feeling that no matter where I go, Jesus is always watching me...in both good and bad way.

I really liked it, the bits with the gore made me go ouch and made me look away. Like Emong said, the editing was invisible (which is good) It really help seed the atmosphere even better! I really enjoyed it

I coulda sword that this was supposed to be a mini-anime adaption of some other movie, but I can't find that source anymore. May as well have been Passion anyway. If it means anything, apparently the creators are interested in doing other such shorts, so maybe they will choose something...not this next time?
