TwilightChrono wrote:Hey guys. I got a couple of issues with a couple of the finals that were sent to me. I was just going over them last night and noticed some issues.
Aimo:
I have some weird slowdown and jumping, like the characters and stuff are twitching through the entirety of the vid. Can you maybe send me a re-render of the final to see if this eleviates the issue? I would be much appreciative. Thanks.
Pan:
On your Ah! My Goddess Final, 15-16 there is a split second clip during a transition that just looks god awful ugly, I didn't notice it before, but I am now. Can you maybe get rid of that and use a fade? It also looks like you used a color bleed there as well. I think just a regular fade would do fine. And at 21-22 there is another one during the flash. Can this be corrected as well? Again, I think a fade would work best here instead of the white flash. That's all that needs to be corrected in your final. Just a couple of the transitions.
I'm sorry if I'm inconveniencing anyone, I just want the parts to go as smooth as possible. I"m actually glad I went over these, else these issues would have carried over to the final project. I just want the MEP to be as good as possible.
Thanks guys.
Also, Jade, your Zero No Tsukaima portion I believe is ready to be finalized. If you could Huffy or lag it and send it my way I would love ya to death
Same goes for you Hagaren. Your Beta is ready to be finalized. huffy or lag it and send it my way and I will love ya to death
Also, if I can't get anyone for the credits, I have an amazing idea I wanna try. Just letting you all know. And I promise. I'll have my full beta to ya soon for review. Sorry it's taking so long, in the process of about to move AGAIN.......I think.

TwilightChrono wrote:I'm not that bad or horrible of a person to make you go back and remake your entire part. I don't see a problem leaving it as is. I was just curious if you still had the project files if you could just finish those 2 transitions, but it's fine. I'm just glad everyone is being so cooperative here compared to the last CascadaThon. I had to fight tooth and nail about 75-80% harder than I am with you guys
So, guys I have to thank you for being awesome and making my job a hell of a whole lot easier this time around.
Your part is fine Pan. It was just an idea. I wasn't gonna force you to do it if you didn't want to.
EDIT: Guys, if you haven't checked it out yet, then please do so:

It's the CascadaThon 2: BTS
This is what the collab invites were for.
Post in that thread as well if you feel so inclined so we can all sees your thoughts
pan_dbgt01 wrote:Alright. Thanks a lot! If you can just try to fade it out when you make the final. I'm not sure where the colour bleed is tho, I'm pretty sure I just used disslove to white and a white color under fades. I did have a negative effect in before that was removed. I'm sorry, I just got a little upset becasue I've been getting no editing time at all lately.

TwilightChrono wrote:EDIT: Hey Hagaren. Whats up with Dar's part for your track? I"m confused. I haven't heard anything from him. I should PM Him.

Yeah. Just get to it
And thanks guys. I'm really glad you enjoyed it. I guess 3 days of editing with only 1 to 2 hour catnaps in-between renders really helped![]()
I'll get to fixing the names. That was the only issue I had was implementing the names properly. And the scene where it gets dark when the stand hits the floor, I can't do anything about that, since that is in the DVD also. I tried my best to get the lipsynch to work and time it right.
Sadly, I don't think there is enough time in the scenes to layer names. I can look at trying to give them motion, but no promises. Putting the anime we used along with our names is probably going to be the biggest issue. I was just thinking that I would put the names of the anime and which editors edited which tracks in the video description rather than the video, seeing as how people only really do that when they REALLY want people to know like for youtube videos.
Plus some people don't even watch credits, so if they really want to know which tracks were edited by who, they can just look at the video description. That is what a video description is there for you know. The names at the beginning are just to announce which editors took place in the MEP.
YAY? NAY?
