Premiere CS3 problems when importing with avisynth

Post by Bonehimer » Sun Jun 26, 2011 4:38 pm

Trying to import a 2hr vid using avisynth. Premier takes the vid but only shows the first 7min. Tried other videos longer than 1 hour and they work fine. The video I am having problems with is actually live action while the others are animated so not sure if that may have something to do with it.

DirectShowSource("C:\Users\Bonehimer\Downloads\Metropolis 1927\Metropolis (1927).mp4")

try extracting the raw video source from the mp4 (using Yamb )and muxing it into an mkv container (you can use mkvmerge)... then using ffmpegsource instead of directshowsource...

or buy the dvd >.>

I will try the above options, thanks.

Gotta say I find it ironic that I may actually buy a dvd/bd for a film that is in the public domain.
