I can only spread agreement here
Just wanted to drop an additional note on this:

Very much so. I'd give video quality the lowest importance in judging as well, but there have been many matches so far which were so close that better video quality could've given one video the edge over another. Also, acquiring a good source and making it look nice is something you can take care of outside your 2 hours editing timeBrad wrote:5) How was the video quality? (this is more of DISTANT 5th and wouldn't really override the above criteria, but it does have some influence in my visceral enjoyment, like it or not)

true that...I agree!JCD wrote:Also, acquiring a good source and making it look nice is something you can take care of outside your 2 hours editing time
Quality shouldn't be much of a matter when it comes to judging but as JCD said...some videos do kind of and to be honest... look better because of the Quality of the source.
but oh well....at the end of the day it all comes down how good you edited not how bad the source looks like.

Re: The Online AMV Iron Chef Tournament v4.0 - ROUND THREE!
So, I haven't really heard much about scheduling recently. I know that at least Kristyrat and Kikai Saigono are planning on editing their videos this weekend before they go on vacation, but as far as I remember they're the only people I've heard from. How about we get a bunch of matches scheduled for this weekend and make this a nice quick round? Eh? Eh? Please remember that I don't care that much if you edit separately. I'd PREFER a simultaneous match, but it is definitely NOT required. So just figure out some time that works for you. I'm sure every single one of you could manage to find 3 hours of free time on some day.

I'll get to contacting Haunter about our match to see if we can arrange something next week. The rest of this week/end and next weekend Friday on are packed for me, so I'm going to try my best to find time early in the week.

If Dai doesn't answer me soon I'll probably just do my match on my own.

Sorry, Brad, I know it must come as a shock but the situation being what it is, I'm going to have to drop. Between work and school and poetry jams, there's just not enough time in the day for me to truly dedicate a slice of that precious pie to this project.
I hope you'll understand.
Wait, where am I?
