I recently got a Windows 7 64-bit system and am configuring EAC to rip in FLAC or MP3 but a problem occurs when I try to type in the command line: -T "artist=%a" -T "title=%t" -T "album=%g" -T "date=%y" -T "tracknumber=%n" -T "genre=%m" -5 %s
It says "Invalid replacement tag found!" and directs a marker between =%
I'm not sure if I messed up on setting the program up correctly but I wouldn't know where atm.

I never really bothered using EAC for ripping since I found it much easier to do whole-disc backups with Nero and selectively rip from those using UltraISO. It's also possible to do for free with ImgBurn copying to .WAV/.CUE and foobar2000 (which will take the .CUE and allow for splitting by track and compression settings that are a lot easier to set up). I used to use EAC as a graphical interface for iTunesEncode, but I've not needed to do that for years, especially with qtaacenc and such being so much more resource-friendly and direct.
Can't remember if you can get/edit the metadata in ImgBurn or if you have to do that afterwards in Notepad or Wordpad, though.

Bonk Encoder should work on your system; its simple but been renamed:

I figured that Someone, other than myself, had ever used it.
Bonk is a CD ripper & converter. It does not care which version of Windows
it is operating under ( Win95 - System 7 64 bit). Fre:AC is its new name.
May 10, 2011 ... It can read MP3, MP4/M4A, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, Bonk, FLAC, WAV, AIF, AU and VOC files and produce MP3, MP4/M4A, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, Bonk files.
It has no limitations! Every Encode can be Pre-Set to Your Specifications:
