event velocity problem

Post by FabioFortune » Sat May 14, 2011 5:53 pm

(sony vegas user) Hello, when I try to raise the velocity of any clip, if i raise "too much" (sometimes it isn't even too much, about 140%) that clip doesn't appear when I make the render, can anyone tell me why?!

.. the projection of any 3D object in motion onto a 2D image plane has no
limits within Sony's boundaries; unlike the Adobe products of CS3 and higher.
If 3D to 2D has no limits then its not a rendering issue; its an FX Issue! ..
something didn't load onto your computer when it installed your editor.

.. Sony loads many things on to your hard drive .. it probably forgot to load your Quicktime package!

Well, first off, are you editing with lossless footage? If you're not, you're going to run into issues like this, frame blending, and pop frames.

Post-it, are you fucking mentally handicapped or something? Seriously, nothing you say makes sense, like, ever.

Arashinome; all I did was erase things that were installed until the problem "that was posted" revealed itself:
lossless codec's are never the cause for FX Failure!!! ( unless you know something about presentation creation that no one else does.)
Something else must be triggering the error if it can not store the images properly; the only other choice makes
no sense of any kind; an open GL system -or- DirectX11 failure!

Calm down people xD

Arashinome: yeah it isn't lossless footage, the ony way that i can see the respective clip in render is if I raise the size of the clip...if it is small and have the velocity modifiied doesn't appear anything

post-it: what the quicktime have to do with this?

thanks for the tip people, I will see what I can do

I already solved the problem guys =D what I did was to go to the properties of the clip and select "disable resamble", it worked ;D
