Also, don't bring the drama in here, Cenit, it isn't proper. I'm doing this project how I want, regardless of what others are saying. It really isn't fair to be insulting someone's idea when they're just trying to find a way to get closure. Plus, I think I have a lot of people on my side, who agree with my statement. If you have a problem with it, don't bring it in here. This is an extremely touchy topic for some, don't make it worse just because you want to put your two cents in.

See the problem with this is not that you don’t care about a good guy but that you print his name and that of his franchise on a random AMV compilation. Let’s rip this apart from the beginning.

Godix liked dance, happy, upbeat, funny, weird, fast paced amvs.

This definition leaves room for anything. You don’t have a general topic in this. Everybody likes the good videos and they are mostly from that genre. Most ppl don’t like Drama AMV’s since they in fact all suck. The definition for this Project is “Every-AMV-Is-Fine” so this is absolutely Sailor Earth MEP.

He never cared about the anime/song used. So pick whatever.

we are not making fun of godix.

Wasn’t this the purpose of the first DtG? Wasn’t this the key element of the whole “Dedicated to X” series he created. Who are you to change the rules right after his death?

So let’s talk about the surname “Remembering”. When doing this MEP as you said, nothing of either “Godix” or “Dedicated to …” will be in this. You also won’t remember anything of him by doing random videos “he might have liked eventually but probably not” since he never stood for that. He was a talented editor as his “Akross 2010” entry proved once again. But if you actually “remember” Godix you will most likely think of all the shit he has done and it was epic. So wouldn’t suppressing/replacing be way more fitting?

My second problem with this radical shift is that this could go on and on. Now 2012 one year after his death we might get “Dedicated to Godix 3: Still Crying” with another genre-shift – maybe everyone edits to one pendulum song - and if successful then in 5 years people might say he was the bright light of the org who just occasionally got a slight argument with a total fag who deserved it. Lots of you know him way longer and way better than I do, but for the last 5 years this hasn’t been my impression.

Whatever now let’s go to the reason I am writing. I asked you yesterday in the most polite way possible (gotta give me that) to edit your post where you insulted me. Now you read it but decided not to answer and not to do anything. I believe it’s due to the reason that you A) have no sense when you do something wrong and B) are just laughing and waiting to see me go full retard about it what I am definitely doing right now. Anyway since point A) can be cured I will explain it very long and boring:

For starters you brought my problems here by asking a cowardly mod to lock a discussion topic while I was focusing on stopping you to do this MEP the way you plan it to. Your arrogant reply back then was:

So if I am the first to reply to this matter you make me the only one – YOU NOTHING BUT ANOTHER EDITOR LIKE ME – and decide to lock a thread and gain magical moderator rights. Be sure that I am not the only one but most people don’t care about your MEP’s – I do for once care about Godix name and what he build so far since he was the one who made me laugh the most on the org. Btw to that moderator – idk if I know you or not – if you lock a topic leave a note for everyone to see why – also with your name. You either do this job only for a short time or abuse your rights to help a friend. I guess I could go on about how you guys run the org but that’s probably one of the reasons why I stopped donating as of this year. Still I think I deserve better from you.

That. That. That’s so much what I am saying. “Dedicated to” is NOT your series. You are taking over someone else’s legacy here but switch the content to the stuff you always do anyway and just try to profit from a name instead of building sth on your own and be awesome yourself.

Oh now it’s no longer me criticizing your project but all of you. I am very glad Godix had so many friends who deeply care about him but at least 50% would have joined any project that says Godix. Just happens that the worst idea came first.

If you have a problem with it, don't bring it in here.

Where should I bring it instead? I posted in the other thread that I would try to stay out of this one to not interfere with a soon starting project, but org moderators locked it in your favor.

I put my 2 Cen(i)ts in it next to your 100 Dollar Bill. I know you can’t handle criticism.

So what can you do now? Change the Mep name/Stop this Project and start the Japan quake thing to make Godix proud /Do DTG2 as it should be done to remember him and the series as how he was and not your ideal liquid definition given in the first post.

Now you got me writing this for half an hour. This could have easily been avoided by you answering my pm or editing that post but you preferred to get this. Ignore it and keep on pretending.
