Oh I will be mailing the remaining awards as soon as I can. I just need payday and to handle personal bills first. I kinda skipped last month's phone and cable bill to have money at con, so this month those bills are gonna bite me

As SOON as I saw the finalist list, I said "AMV Potpourri is going to win comedy" haha.

Anyways, congrats to all the winners!

Congrats everyone. The majority of the of the videos this year were really solid. If you were in the finals you should be proud of yourself.

The audience loved it. I thought you would've won the category.

Damn straight. I was in the room for a lot of the non-finalist block, and I was shocked at how many high quality entries didn't make the cut. So even if you didn't make the finals, don't feel bad, you're in good company.

This. So much. The finalists rocked, but watching all the other entries, I was amazed at what didn't make the cut. Wanna give a shout-out to whoever did the "Durara Love Medley", it was honestly my favorite of all of the non-finalists.

Congratulations to all of the winners and all of the other finalists. I have never been more excited than the moment when my video was playing in front of the crowd and everybody was cheering! I didn't win this time, but now I'm pumped up to do the best I can for next year. :awesome:

Also, congratulations to Pwolf for winning the Iron Editor competition. Both videos were amazing, and we (the judges) had a hard time deciding which one was better.

Considering you beat out a FMA:B AMV at Katsucon, that may not always be the case there, Kaz lol. Not every audience is going to have the same taste in AMVs. You win some, you lose some, and you move on. Now go storm AX!

Congrats to the winners! :D

as the one who made the final cuts I have to say it wasnt easy to cut the last hour and a half worth of videos and keep the categories balanced.

My sheet only showed the same thing that the execs screener sheets showed. Entry Number and video name. It also showed the average scores based on what they scored videos as.

I was making the cuts literally by right clicking on the excel sheet and "delete row" while keeping an eye on sheet that had a formula that was keeping track of the run time of all the finalists. That last cut was the hardest because I watched videos that I really loved not make the cut. That included a video that I thought would win overall, but I go by scores based from multiple people and not my own feelings.

Oh and about the I'm In A Cup video
I busted up laughing when I saw it come in. Our Director of Programming cosplays as Isiah Mustaffa (Old Spice Guy).
When the title slate popped up, the Treasurer, who was sitting 3 people down looked over at me and said "Dinger, this had better not involve two girls"

Lol yeah you're right... I just have some...vendetta against Zombie anime. :?

What? Bunneh is retiring?! No way, send it to AX! D=<

Still, awesome lineup.

I'm kinda curious about all the vids that didn't make the cut. They'll be a list up, right?
Currently replaying/recording: Tales of Vesperia (Xbox360) and Tales of Graces F (PS3)

in regards to Bunneh
THANK YOU

At the exec screening I was asked about which anime was used, and at least one got all girly squeeing happy because she had just bought it, but not had time to watch it
