So, who's going to troll the n00bs now? 0_o

Srsly, I with everyone else. I am in total shock. On the one hand, I am expecting him to come back at any time, possibly even under a new screen name, and laugh at us for falling for that shit. On the other, I think the .org has died a little with him. I really don't think the community will be the same without him. ;_;

I always admired his sense of humor and way with words. He always had some sort of help or gem of wisdom to impart, even if you did have to chisel through large amounts of sarcasm and insults to find it. Even if it was as simple as 'STOP BEING A DUMBASS!!!' But ya know, sometimes, that's just what you need hear. XD I actually really liked that he never sugar-coated anything. And was humorous about it in the process. XD

I always just thought he was a pseudo-helpful asshole, but then, I got to see a whole different side of him that I srsly was not expecting.

I was one of the schizophrenics he tapped for that. When he 1st messaged me about it, saying he wanted to do a vid accurately depicting schizophrenia, that he remembered me mentioning that I had it, and asked if i would mind helping as a consultant for it, I admit, I was a little apprehensive. But, I do have a sense of humor about my condition (To quote Gary Busey in the roast of Larry the Cable Guy, 'Did someone turn on the Bat-Shit Signal?' XD), and however irreverent it may be, I figured whatever godix did, it would be amusing/entertaining. So I agreed, downed many drinks (surprise surprise XD), and told him my story. Everything after that. . .I srsly thought I was talking to an impostor logged into godix's account. @_@ He told me the reason he was making the vid, and I was floored. I would never in a million years would have expected that from him. And whenever he consulted with me, he was always very nice and non-invasive. Even kinda sweet. Godix and sweet, 2 words I never would imagine in the same sentence. @_@ After that project, I just had a whole different view of him.

And so, I would compare getting to know godix much to that of dissecting a porcupine. Painful to handle if you don't know what you're doing/aren't familiar with him due to his hard, spiny exterior. But once you get through and cut him open, he is warm, soft and gooey. And to many, you might not know what to expect once you crack him open. *^_^*

Anyway, he will def be missed. Though as sweet as teh "nice" side was, I think I will miss the sarcastic asshole side the most. He gave the site/forum "character". lol. XD RIP. *^_^*

This place won't be the same without him. :( Under the troll mask he was a great guy. I'm just glad I had the chance to meet him offline once.

When I was told about it on IRC, I was hoping it was a belated april fool's joke, but... damn.

I don't even know what to say anymore. He was... very important for me as a person, before as an editor. I never had the chance to meet him, but I always liked to believe that he was actually a very very nice person behind the sheer amount of insults. Sure, he always had something new and unique to insult you with, but he would still be able to give such an incredible amount of advices ─ and I'm not just talking about editing, but about pretty much anything ─ that I know I will miss him a lot. I would always have something to learn from him.
I wish I could have known him more. Org won't be the same anymore...

I guess I should cheer up now tho, he would be calling me a cocksucking Italian faggot otherwise. >_>

I remember when I was still new to the forums, his sig read something like this guys vids suck more than a choir boy at church or something. So I went to change my profile a bit, checked his sig again and realized what was really going on and had a good laugh. The org will definitely never be the same :cry: rest in peace old guy

This news comes as a big shock to me...
I didn't know godix well, but I did enjoy talking to him and reading his hilarious chains of insults and rants. I thought of him as only an epic forum troll at first, but things changed after I asked him to beta one of my amvs about taking it in the ass. Why him? Because I thought he'd find the subject relevant to his interests. :wink: I expected to receive a whole paragraph of witty jokes insulting my editing abilities (or lack thereof), but what I got made my jaw drop: godix wrote 2 A4 pages worth of valid and extremely helpful criticism. I started looking at him differently after that. Beyond that asshole facade was a guy that would lend you a hand without hesitation if asked for it. He will be missed. Have fun trolling everyone in the afterlife, you magnificent bastard.

Dont get me wrong but this is like a joke and it doesn't make sense.

Can't say i'd knew you well or anything beyond chatting. I highly respect your opinion and your achievements in fucking up people on the org and beyond with "Dedicated to Sammy" and "DTSEM" being 2 of my favorit compilations alltime. Not really clear about what to write right now - this is goats.
